"December 6, 1996. The anniversary of Finland's
independence from the Soviet Union (sic) and, as far
as the staff at the Finnish Institute in London are
concerned, the perfect excuse for a party. And who better
to enterntain the assembled collection of bemused embassy
(sic) top brass, trendy young urbanites and waitresses
in bizarre rubberised costumes serving intriguing Scandinavian
delicacies and free Finlandia vodka, than sparkling
(his jacket anyway) techno cabaret star, Jimi Tenor."

"Pure" - The Barrowlands show on 15th October
1995.
Orbital, Random XS & Pressure of Speech played live
on the main floor with Laurent Garnier & Twitch & Brainstorm
playing the records. Downstairs saw the debut of esteemed
cabaret artist Jimi Tenor who played live alongside
the various unpronounceable Finns that make up Sahko
records.
