Jimi Tenor in Kennington Park for an interview in view
of his upcoming Austrian tour. Among other things Jimi
had a few words to say about Warp, who recently dropped

Tour update: The venue for the Vienna
show on Jimi's Austrian tour in November has changed
to Casavova. The line-up for the shows will be Jimi
Tenor (vocals, keyboards, sax), Nicole Willis (vocals),
Philip Laughlin (bass), Simon Pearson (drums) and Ilkka

Jimi Tenor announced the termination
of his contract with Warp Records today (Oct 10). Now
he's looking for a new label which would be ready and
willing to invest in largish production with money being
put into making music rather than, say, videos.

The upcoming Sähkö
Recordings Italian tour will offer a great chance
to hear Jimi Tenor perform material from his 'Impostor
Orchestra' and 'City
Of Women' records. Nicole Willis and her band (Chris
Dawkins on guitar, Simon Pearson on drums, Peter Shand
on bass and Jimi Tenor of course) will perform songs
from her new 'Soul Makeover'
album. The pioneering DJ Esko Routamaa from Finland
will be there to provide the necessary beats. See the

Her first solo album 'Soul
Makeover' (Sähkö, PUU-21) is out now.
The album is produced by Jimi Tenor, Maurice Fulton
