A launch party for Jimi's
new album Utopian Dream takes place at Cargo,
London, Oct 22. Jimi will of course be playing with
his band, DJ support comes from Jori Hulkkonen. Win

Jimi
Tenor's documentary film Sähkö
- the Movie will be screened at Mixmove,
a french festival of electronic music and images, which
takes place Oct 19-21 in Paris. Jimi's film is scheduled
to be shown on Sunday, Oct 21 at 02 am.

whole Tavastia show, selections of which were featured
on Jatzofrenia (see below), will be brodcast sometime
in the near future on Finnish Ylen Ykkönen. Details
will follow later. Meanwhile see some photos

City 2001, a transient radio station active from Sep
30 to Dec 31 2001, is broadcasting 24 hours a day from
a laptop at Kiasma (the Museum of Contemporary Art,
Helsinki). Rarely heard experimental electronic music
will reach the Helsinki area at 103,1 Mhz FM. The rest
of the world is served on the web.
The programme includes
Suburban Sax by Jimi Tenor and Tapani Rinne, and Impostor
Orchestra's Heliopause.
