Jimi talks about life after Warp and returning to Sähkö, his new album Utopian Dream, and says that though soundtracks remain his biggest passion he's still not been offered job. Utopian Dream is getting good reviews..."He's no slouch when it comes to invention", writes Sharon O'Connell in November's Mojo and Thomas H Green says it's "Truly enjoable to listen to rather than 'conceptually interesting'" in the November issue of Muzik giving it 4 out of 5. "A delicious blend of Prince, had he been beaten up at school", says Jockey Slut and rates it a 4/5. Good reviews in Finland too: 5 stars from City, 4 from Rumba and 3 from Soundi. Jimi's Cosmic Relief EP was reviewed in the September issue of Sleazenation and chosen album of the month by Stuart Turnbull. A short Jimi Tenor article was published in issue 174 (12 Sep) of Aden, the weekly cultural supplement of Le Monde. Helsingin Sanomat on 15 Jul 2001 has a few lines about Jimi's gig at Ilosaarirock. Another review appeared in the August issue of Soundi, according to which the tracks from Out Of Nowhere worked surprisingly well without the orchestra too. An article appeared in Berliner Morgenpost on 7 May 2001, the day of his Berlin gig.
